Seth Miller
Seth Miller is a Partner at DBL Investors and has been an investment professional with the Bay Area Equity Fund since 2003. Seth sources and performs diligence on investment opportunities, advises portfolio company management, and helps companies implement their double bottom line practices. He currently works with seven portfolio companies: Elephant Pharmacy, Efficas, Five Prime, Pandora, MeeVee, BrightSource and InSpa.
Prior to his affiliation with the Fund, Seth was a Vice President in the Investment Bank at JPMorgan advising both private and public companies in 
raising and structuring private capital. In that capacity, he helped raise over $1 billion in private equity for 45 companies. Having started in 1998 at Hambrecht & Quist, Seth has focused on working with growth companies in various technology, biotechnology and branded consumer industries. Seth also spent three years in Washington DC working on environmental policy issues for the White House and the United States Senate.
Seth enjoys volunteering for the Painted Turtle Camp, a summer camp serving chronically ill children in California. As a ten-year resident of the Bay Area, he is still avidly exploring all of the outdoor recreation it has to offer and is constantly amazed by its natural beauty. He received a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania and a JD-MBA from Kellogg and the Northwestern University School of Law.
